By car
Are you coming by car? From the E40 or E403, take the exit for Bruges. From there, follow the N351 to the R30. From the R30, follow the parking route. The Historium is located in the center of Bruges and does not have its own parking lot. You can use the underground parking garages in the city.

Parking
Historium Brugge does not have its own parking lot, but several underground parking garages are within walking distance of the Historium: Parking Centrum Station, ’t Zand, Zilverpand, or ’t Pandreitje.

Enjoy a discounted rate when booking at Parking Centrum Station (entrance via R30 Buiten Begijnvest). Here you pay a reduced rate for 24-hour parking and receive a free ticket for De Lijn buses (upon presentation of your booking or parking ticket).

Next to the Historium – at Philipstockstraat 5 – there are 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities. From these parking spaces, it is 100 meters to the entrance of the Historium, but you can also use the side entrance of the Historium at Philipstockstraat 2. Here you can cross the courtyard to reach the main entrance of the Historium and the elevator. Please note that the surface is not flat but consists of cobblestones.

By train
There is a regular train connection to Bruges from Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Kortrijk, Ostend, Knokke, and Blankenberge. At Bruges station, take the bus towards ‘Centrum’.

By bus
There is a convenient public transport bus connection from the station to the Markt (all buses marked ‘Centrum’). There are several bus stops in the vicinity of the Markt.
